Cameron's eyes and our anniversary

Yesterday, September 11th, my hubby and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. And how did we celebrate? We took Cameron to the pediatric ophthalmologist! Cameron was an angel and didn't even throw a fit when Dr. Arthur dialated his eyes. He has lazy eye...get this...in BOTH eyes. So, our course of action is to patch one eye, each day for two hours, alternating eyes each day. Cameron thinks it is cool, he gets to play pirate! We go back near the end of November to see if it is helping. If not, then Dr. Arthur may have him fitted for glasses with speciality lens. If we have to go further than that, surgery is an option but not right now. We went to my inlaws for supper...Curt wasn't so happy with that, he wanted to take me out. We may go out tonight but it isn't that fun going out with the boys so I may suggest that we order from our favorite restaurant (Greco's - downtown Kingston) and then bring it home to eat...Cameron can have his noodles (current favorite meal) while he watches a Disney movie and Caleb can either be sleeping or playing in his play place and we may get to have an actual adult dinner together! I didn't get any of these for my anniversary so here they are for all of you...

Happy anniversary, Rebecca, to your and your hubby! Poor Cameron, to have both eyes affected. Luckily he is enjoying his patching and hopefully this will work its magic and glasses won't be necessary. Not a very romantic day for your anniversary but with kids, that's just what you do.

Oh, and congrats on your 10 lbs lost!
