There is almost no child anymore tought by watching parents, neighbours etc. to look at the sky and tell them to take their raincoat, because there is rain in the air (or frost, thunder, snow, extreme sunshine or storm ahead) They watch weather forecasts, I am happy I can still look at the sky and leave early when visiting to come home before the rain pours down or the thunderstorm lights the sky. I can still smell the wonderful air that anounces spring is near while it is still freezing cold or smell the first bite of winter in autumn. I am happy to be a babyboom child, there are advantages of having lived in an era without computertechnology but with all kinds of modern convienences next to the old ways. If ever necessary, I can do my household without electricity and computers, as long as there is water in the tap and a fire to cook on.
