So, the muffins didn't turn out as I thought they would in my brain while I was mixing them up. My MIL's are really dark, rich and smooth...these were lumpy, bumpy and white! Maybe because I substituted the cereals but I don't think so, I think it is just not the same recipe! Here are the pictures of what they looked like baked.
They taste fine, of course different than I thought they would but they aren't bad at all! I'm sure their fibre content is really high and the raisins are nice and plump but my son won't eat them so I think I will take the rest of the batter to my Mom's this weekend and she can bake up the rest!
